Plotting sessions are unique experiences for every author – because their processes are all different. Some writers like to build the world before they start plotting, some create detailed plots first, and others create their characters first and let the plots and worlds build around that.

Everyone is different, and it’s always so much fun to see those differences!

Next Thursday, October 24th, 2019, at 7 PM Eastern Time, I’ll be doing a live plotting session with Rachel Neuburger Reynolds on my Facebook page, so you can get a peek inside my process.  The kinds of questions I ask, the advice I offer.

Rachel Neuburger Reynolds is a mystery novelist and playwright. A reformed New Yorker, she currently lives between London and St Leonards-On-Sea on the south coast of England with her photographer husband, John. Rachel writes laugh-out-loud funny cozy mysteries, with an amazing cast of quirky characters.

Rachel and I will be going over character development in her Red Frog Beach Mystery series. With the first two books already out, we’re going to focus on book 3 and how the development will continue on in books 4 and 5.

You can watch, ask us questions, and get an idea of how I could help you with your very own plotting session.

If you miss the live event, don’t worry! The post will remain on the Facebook page for you to watch and take notes whenever you get a free moment.
